Waste Collection

Monday, January 30th, Best Trash will be your new trash & recycling collection provider.

Collection Schedule

Trash Collection: Monday, Thursday
Recycling Collection: Thursday

If you have any questions or concerns regarding trash or recycling collection you can contact Best Trash at 281-313-2378.

Holiday Schedule

If your regular trash collection day falls on a holiday (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day) the collection will be made on the next regularly scheduled collection day.

Residential Collection Guidelines

Best Trash will collect residential refuse located at the curbside in resident owned carts up to 50 gallons in size. For aesthetic purposes, please try to confine all refuse inside the cart. If items exceed the capacity, please place the items alongside the cart in other containers or bags not exceeding 50 gallons or weighing over 40 pounds. Carts should be placed in the street up against the curb so as not to block mailboxes or interfere with traffic. Carts will be returned to the curb in a neat and professional manner.

  • Time:
    • Have waste ready for collection no later than 7:00 am
  • Household Garbage
    • Waste must be placed in personal containers not exceeding 50-gallons or bags.
    • Cans or bags cannot exceed 40 pounds
  • Heavy Trash:
    • Heavy trash/bulk waste includes waste that is not generated on a regular basis, including:
      • Furniture (couch, table, mattress, box spring, desk, dresser, etc.)
      • Appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.)
      • Hot Water Heaters
      • Fencing/Decking/Siding (please remove nails, cut into lengths 4' or less, and tie and bundle under 40 pounds)
      • Trampolines (broken down, please place metal with recycling if possible)
      • Basketball goals (broken down into sections 4' or shorter, no concrete in base or poles)
      • Carpeting/Flooring (please cut into lengths 4' or shorter and tie and bundle under 40 pounds, up to one room per service day)

    • Place grass clippings in cans or bags under 40 pounds
    • Trees, shrubs, brush trimmings and fencing must be no larger than 4” inches in diameter, no more than 4’ feet long, tied in bundles not exceeding 40 pounds. Tied bundles are required to allow quick pick up and size limitations are required to avoid damaging the equipment in the compacting process.
